# Get Medium Benchmark Ranges

# Returns the benchmark ranges for a medium

You can now get industry benchmark information for your images or videos.

Provided you have a valid media that can be either an image or a video that has been successfully predicted and the [objective settings have been configured](https://apidocs.neuronsinc.com/reference/update-media-objectives), you can get industry benchmark ranges for your medium's objectives (based on how the medium is segmented according to the objective settings configuration).

The output provided from this endpoint includes:

* upper and lower range of the benchmark for each metric.
* the metric name and type (start, end, total).
* score categorization - informing where the medium metric ranks in relation to the benchmark. The score categorisaitons range from extreme low to extreme high (see Performance buckets information in [knowledge base](https://knowledge.neuronsinc.com/how-our-benchmarks-are-calculated)).
* score title - a short summary sentence to inform when the metric is in benchmark range.
